Chronology
Thirty-five years working professionally as a dominatrix since 1991. A quarter of a century of kinbaku, beginning at the end of 2001 at Mistress, a long-established SM bar in Roppongi, and continuing under Randa Mai from 2004.
Two specialisms built separately. After her teacher's death in 2022 they converge into one piece of work: to hand on what she was given.
I · Foundation 1970–2003
Becoming a professional
Born in Kyoto
Begins working professionally as a dominatrix
L-Club, Fukuoka — where it began. In 2000 she moved to Secret Club, also in Fukuoka.
Moves to Tokyo. Learns stage performance from the ground up at Mistress, a long-established SM bar in Roppongi
At the end of that year she begins studying kinbaku in earnest, reaching performance level there. The same year, launches the play party Dominate!

II · Independence & Lineage 2004–2019
Independence, and inheritance
Becomes independent — and a student of Randa Mai
Founds the video label Zecchō, the salon Natsukiss and the club ENIGMA. At the same time she begins directing for external studios, and appears in many works
Opens GUILD in Okubo
Receives the name Randa Mai II
The naming ceremony was held on 25 March at Casablanca Shinjuku — her teacher's own birthday. The same year she founds Seijoukai for public education on safe kinbaku, and opens the club La Cage
Accident prevention moves to the centre of her practice
Starts Seigaku, the teaching arm. Founds the BDSM Safety Support Association
Certified as a nonprofit corporation on 30 October; served as its representative director. The corporation was dissolved in February 2023, its role carried forward into Randa-ryu Kinbaku Juku and Kinbaku-gaku.
Co-authors and self-publishes Gendai Kinbaku Nyūmon (Introduction to Contemporary Kinbaku)
By this point she has directed and appeared in more than two hundred videos each, and performs kinbaku on stages in Japan and abroad
Founds the club Royal Blue

What began after the ending
At fifty, announces her retirement from SM and closes every part of her work
She drew a line under nearly thirty years of professional work, by her own decision.
Randa Mai dies — and she returns
Not for herself, but to preserve what she had received from her teacher and carry it to the next generation. At the same time, answering women who wanted to learn, she takes on their training as dominatrices. Everything since begins here.
The same year she founds two. Inc., whose purpose is to support sex workers in building second careers. As its base she opens the café Inclusion and the training gym Secure Base in Ochanomizu, Tokyo
Opens Randa-ryu Kinbaku Juku
A revival of Randa Juku, the school her teacher ran around 2005 — not a new venture but an inheritance reopened. The same year she brings La Cage back and resumes training dominatrices. She also qualifies as a sommelier certified by the Japan Sommelier Association
La Cage — training the next generation of dominatrices
Opened in 2012, closed, and reopened in 2024. Kinbaku and the craft of the dominatrix: two specialisms now doing one and the same thing — handing them on.
